What's wrong with me?!  I'm posting pictures of October, and that was only last month. :)  I am hoping to post more often...we will see if I can do it!  I am SO bad about writing things down, so I feel like blogging is my way of journaling what our life is like these days.  I love looking back at old posts...this is my scrapbook these days.  I am going to be so glad I did this...which is why I need to get better at it.  

I honestly don't know how our days go by so fast.  Some days I am embarrassed to answer Tyler's question "What did you guys do today?"....because, well, it's pretty low-key.  My days are full, but when I talk about it, I wonder why it doesn't sound like much.  It's just the simple things...playing, cleaning, cooking.  But I wouldn't trade my job...I love it.  I will say that I have had some difficult days lately though.  Days where I wonder if I will keep my sanity.  Days where I struggle with my desire for control.  Days where I just feel like a failure as a parent.  Days when I try to do it on my own and not hand it over to God (which sadly happens way too often).  Yes, there are bad days and moments, but there are always GOOD days and moments.  And those times are the sweetest.  One thing I do know...I am so thankful that God is continuing to mold me into who He wants me to be.  He isn't finished with me yet.  And His mercies are new every morning.  Thank you, Jesus...

This picture just makes me laugh.  For one, Cruz's who sunglasses with no pants and crazy hair cracks me up.  And two, Eva is always grabbing for what we have....typical scene.

We went to Vala's with the Schluchter's!  The boys had way too much fun.

Relevant did a series on this.  I really enjoyed the whole series.  Sure made me think about things differently.

I got to go on the Relevant Women's Retreat...such a good retreat!  It was lovely to get away with friends for a night and focus on hearing from God.

Shopping...Tyler has lost quite a bit of weight (!!), so we went shopping a few times together so he could get clothes that didn't fall off of him.  Eva was a little weirded out by this mirror.  She kept looking at all of the different "Eva's".
