15 months.

cruz is always on the go. he is our little adventurous spirit around here. every room in this house has been explored by our little 15 month old. he must think it's boring to sit around and play with toys...because that rarely happens. once in awhile he'll sit down and play for 15 minutes or so, but otherwise he's off digging in some cupboard, picking up little pieces of dirt up off the floor, climbing the stairs, climbing in the pots and pans drawer, etc. he is one adventurous little boy. it is so much fun seeing how excited he gets about certain things. i am loving this stage, even though it does wear me out some days!

cruz's vocabulary is growing constantly! he can now say "dada", "mama", "papa", "bye", "buh-bye", "hi", "hi-ya", "ball", "wha-da" (what's that), "nigh-night", "shhhhh" (for shoe and juice), and I think he is trying to say dog. i think he is also saying "mama" for "grandma"...he says it a little differently. he talks constantly! we often hear him talking in his crib in the mornings...saying hi over and over. i think "hi" is is favorite all time word. he tells everybody hi when we go shopping. a person can't walk by our poor cart without him talking to them.

he LOVES going outside. it is a whole new world for him! we play in the backyard a lot, where he can run around freely. he likes to walk up and down the sidewalk, too.

he now weighs 21 pounds, 14 oz. haha! he gained 7 oz in 3 months. that shows how much he's on the move! his weight is in the 13th percentile. he is 31 1/2 inches tall (59th percentile), and his head is 49 1/4 cm (93rd percentile). :)

cruz loves to dance, loves to eat, loves to greet daddy at the top of the steps, loves to read books, loves to horse around with daddy at the end of the day, and loves to give kisses. he is always giving us kisses! it is so sweet...he makes a little sound when he does it, too...."mmm". so sweet. he especially loves giving kisses to babies. we have to watch him pretty closely when there are babies around. he would smother the poor things if we weren't watching. he has a book that has babies in it, and whenever we come to a page with a baby, he has to lean in and give it a kiss.

cruz loves dogs. we have a lot of them in our neighborhood and he will stop in his tracks whenever he sees one and say "wha-da" and gets excited. he has also been noticing birds lately...he has chased a few in the yard, which is pretty funny to watch.

i sure do love our little guy. it's so much fun to see the world from a different view. he gets sooo excited over the littlest things. makes me slow down a bit and become more thankful for the blessings in our lives.
