thankful.

I have a lot to be thankful for this thanksgiving season. I feel so incredibly blessed. It has been such a joyous year...and I am so very thankful.

My thankful list...

- The Father above for his abounding love and grace. He continually amazes me with His love. I am so unworthy and I don't give him the love that he deserves, but He is there for me everyday and is continually teaching me.
- My incredible husband...I am so grateful to be his wife. I love him more and more as time goes by. What would I do without him? It is such a blessing to be able to go through life with him.
- My adorable little son, who gives me so much joy each and every day.
- My huge family! The Warrick's and the McCarty's...how awesome is it that I have two great families?
- My friends...I have such great ones!
- Our house, which is now a home. So many memories.
- Our jobs...for Tyler's business which is growing.
- The little things...my cup of coffee, the sunshine, laughter, good food, books, and slobbery kisses, just to name a few.

This picture brings tears to my eyes. This was by far the best day this year...the day Tyler and I were blessed by our precious little son. Words cannot say what we felt that day when we first saw our little baby. How can one feel so much love for someone who you just met? I had no idea what an incredible experience the whole birthing process would be. Not only did we get to meet our little baby love, but I felt as though that day was one of the best for Tyler and I's relationship. I will never forget the love he showed me during the whole labor process. He was seriously by my side the whole time, encouraging me and telling me that I could do it when I said I wanted to give up. And I will always remember his excitement when our son finally arrived...his tears of joy and his kisses on my wet cheeks. Amazing. Thank you, Jesus, for that amazing day, and for blessing Tyler and I with Cruz. I love you.

Carrie, thanks for sharing your "thankful" list with us ... I loved reading it! And your words of thanks about giving birth brought tears to my eyes, as well. It is so amazing how the joy of birth (as a couple) overshadows all the pain that we go through to get there (and you had a long labor) ... I loved how you wrote your thoughts and your thanks ... And what a sweet blessing Cruz is to you and to all of us ...
Loving you,
Mom
