Eva - 2/12 years!!

I'm just going to pretend like this isn't my first post of the WHOLE year.  :(  Yikes.  

Eva is now 2 1/2 years old...as of September 15th.  I thought it was time for an update on Miss Eves.  I never want to forget these days!  They are flying by, and she is growing up so fast.  

• She is talking more and more everyday.  It's been amazing hearing her put whole sentences together.  I love it!  It has helped that Cruz is in school everyday now...she gets more opportunities. :)
• Some of her favorite things to play with...babies, her kitchen (she'd love to make you a plate of food!), puzzles, and her bikes outside.
• She says "want you" all the time to me.  Even if that just means holding her hand.  She's a mommy's girl for sure.
• She is a social little thing.  At first glance you might not think so, but we have noticed how she comes alive around people that she knows.  
• She is a goof!  Seriously.  She is so much fun.  Oh we just love her to pieces.
• She still sucks her thumb and twirls her doll's hair at naptime/bedtime. :)  We had to stop letting her take her "crazy" babies to bed because their hair gets stuck around Eva's fingers because of all the twirling that goes on in there. 
• She still hasn't had a hair cut...the first one is scheduled in a couple weeks.  I'm hoping the curls stay!!  
• She has started being opinionated about what I do to her hair...which means that most days it just stays down. :)
• One of my favorite moments of each day...when she gives a big goodnight hug to her brother.  It's just darling.  She adores him.
• She's been a little lost with big brother off to school everyday.  The first few weeks she would ask where he was at and then say "I miss him!".  We're slowly adjusting...am trying to figure out what to do with the whining. :)  
• She sleeps so well.  Some mornings I have to peek in her room to see if she's awake...and she's just laying there playing with her babies...not making a peep.
• She loves to dance!  Dora is her favorite to dance to.  

We love you to pieces, Eva!  You bring so much joy to our lives.  Time, please slow down.  

From today (the 16th)...

 No, we didn't get a dog.  :)  But Eva would love it if we would.  This is a friend's dog that she has fallen in love with!  They are buddies.

Making lunch with Mommy while practicing her ballerina skills.  We went through her fall clothes today and she had to wear this cute ballerina tutu all day.
