4th of july!

We had a FULL week of festivities for the 4th of July.  We had so much fun!  Cruz absolutely loved the fireworks this year.  I love seeing his excitement over each holiday...makes me appreciate the little things more. :)

I got Eva a little 4th of July outfit and took some pics...her sandals that she's wearing were mine when I was a little baby.  I love it that my mom saved them for when I had my own little girl.  Thanks, Mom!

On Sunday night we went to the fireworks show at Stonebridge Church.  We found a nice spot on the hill and enjoyed the time together as a family.  I loved that time together.  Cruz was so excited about the huuuugggge fireworks. :)  

On Monday night some of our good friends were in town so a bunch of us all met up at their parents' house at the lake!  It was a great evening.  Cruz got to ride in the tube and Eva wore her swimsuit for the first time.  It's a good thing I pulled it out...it's almost too small (size 6 months!)

At another party Tuesday night!  So good to spend time with friends.  Cruz got to go to the fireworks stand with Daddy and pick out some of his own fireworks that night.

And then on the actual 4th....lighting off our Nebraska lantern with good friends!  We even hung out on our roof for a little while...it is crazy seeing the skyline in Omaha on the 4th.  It looked like we were under attack!
