december...in review.

december.

i don't know where it went. seriously. i can't believe it's over already! we had such a fun month, even though it was a crazy busy month. i was really busy at work, and tyler had multiple projects going on between bellus, relevant, and his basement remodel. but thankfully we found time to enjoy the season and get out with family and friends. it sure was fun seeing the season through a 35 month old's eyes. he loved his christmas chain and couldn't wait to get his candy everynight. he loved the christmas lights...he saw them outside one day at the beginning of the season and said "look, mommy, there are christmas trees outside! that's silly!". haha! that was right after we put up our tree inside...he thought that's the only place they belonged. :)

i didn't really know where to pick up, since it's been a month since i've posted...so i just thought i'd put up a bunch of random december pics...

a friday morning...stay at home with mommy day.

my dear, dear husband. he didn't shave the whole month of november...and then when he finally decided to shave, he did this. thankfully it only lasted a couple days. :) this picture was taken at a restaurant...where he asked me if i was embarrassed to be out in public with him.

25 weeks! i am getting so excited to meet this baby! i can't believe i am already in the third trimester. the month of december had some unexpected dr visits in it...turns out this baby likes to give mommy lots of braxton hicks. there were times when there were a little too many and we were nervous about pre-term labor...but they have slowed down now. more on baby later...

loving his first mug of hot cocoa. well deserved after he helped mommy shovel the driveway (ok, part of the driveway). (he helped by shoveling with his little shovel and pail he uses at the beach!)

we love hyvee. this was the first time he used his own cart...he was quite the little shopper.

very proud of his christmas chain. one present everyday until christmas!

squeezed in time to make the pioneer woman's cinnamon rolls. mmm.

sprinkling pretzels.

tyler's project for our christmas eve service at church. our living room was a mess for a couple weeks, but his vision came together and looked awesome!

making cut-outs...the thursday before christmas. i'm so glad we made time to make them...cruz had so much fun.
