watch out! this is gonna be a long one.

i can't just pick out a few pics from the last several weeks...i've gotta post a bunch. we've been having fun...going to parties, playing with cousins, playing outside, working on the house, going to grama's, etc.

we've been playing outside a lot lately. :) and about everytime we come back inside i have to strip cruz down. i don't mind though...i love that he is playing outside and getting dirty. he has a blast outside...i don't know how we made it through the winter. this boy is going to live outside this summer.

at my mom and dad's with jake and cole. they got into dad's bird bath and had such a great time splashing each other and running around in the mud! we had to give them all a bath at the end of the night. this was cole and cruz's second wash that night...earlier they had gotten into some weeds, and one of those weeds was poison ivy!

daddy and son on memorial day. we went to a graduation party and then went to nick's house for a bbq. it turned out to be a beautiful start to the summer.

we are trying to make date nights happen more often. we've got a few great sitters now so it is easier to find one.

we went by ourselves this time as tyler was too busy with wedding shoots and relevant service. so, we went on our own! cruz did great! i was nervous about the ride but he stayed busy playing. the last hour or so of the trip we drive on a hwy through the country. we had great fun spotting all of the tractors and the cows.

cruz decided to take the girls for a ride. he actually did pull them for awhile, i was impressed!

now i am home without my little boy, but with my big boy. cruz is staying in mccook for a whole week! it's going to be easier on him than on me. the longest we've been apart is 3 nights, so this is quite a stretch. i'm already missing him, but know that he is in good hands. i keep thinking i hear him. :( i am going to LA this week for a tradeshow for work, so i will be busy and it will be fun to go somewhere new. i'm trying to enjoy the break, but i'm finding myself missing the constant jabber, the "what you doing, mommy?", the hugs, and the muddy little shoes.
