We had Cruz dedicated at our church on Sunday. It was a special time of dedicating him to the ultimate control and will of God and us committing ourselves to lead Cruz towards a relationship with Jesus. We can't control that by any means, but we can do the best we can to raise him up to love and follow Jesus. I have to remind myself all the time that Cruz soaks up everything he sees/hears from Tyler and I. I pray that he would see a love for Jesus in our lives, and that God will show us how to raise him up in a way that pleases Him.
I so want Cruz to grow up and love our amazing Jesus. I can't tell you how much it makes my heart happy to hear him talk about Jesus now. He loves reading his Bible every night, especially the story about Baby Jesus. His heart is so open and sweet at this age, I really love it, and pray that it will continue.
