my little baby turned 2 on january 8th. i still can't believe it, and it's been over a month. we had planned to have his party on his actual birthday, but both him and i were sick. so we postponed it a week. i'm so glad we did. we had a great time on the 15th with family. we had a houseful and loved it. such a special time to celebrate cruz. we appreciated everyone being there so much...he is so blessed to have such an amazing big family!
all of the kids at the party were cousins...so fun to have six cousins at the party!
i made spaghetti casserole, jello, and snicker salad...and everyone else pitched in with the rest! thank you so much everyone.
he had a blast opening the gifts...his favorite seemed to be the mini m&m's that were in the backpack that dani gave him. :) he had to open them right away...he didn't care about any of the other presents for a few minutes. haha.
tyler and i had made this thomas cake for cruz. it was so worth it when we saw his face! i'm so glad we kept it a surprise. he still talks about his thomas cake.
i'm ok with this year going really slowly...i'm not going to be ready for him to turn another year older for a long time. he can just stay this age...he still cuddles, lets me rock him, and gives me lots of kisses. please don't grow up too fast, cruz. mommy loves each and every day with you.
