8 months old.

Here are some pictures of our cutie pie on his birthday - 8 months old on the 8th! Time is flying by...he is learning how to do so many new things and is growing up too fast! There are so many little things about Cruz that we love...I hope that we can remember these days for a long time.

News on Cruz...

- He gives us "hugs" now. When I pick him up, he will often lay his head on my shoulder for a little bit. Sometimes he will even tighten his arms and squeeze me.
- He is pulling himself up on everything now! First it was just one toy..then it was the end table...then it was the couch...and now it is anything that is strong enough to hold him (and even things that aren't...like the laundry basket).
- He is scooting around everywhere, and can crawl on his hands and knees for quite a ways before he gives up and army crawls.
- He is sleeping about ten hours or so straight a night...and sometimes will go back to bed for another hour or two.
- He is always making a fake little coughing sound. He seems to think that its funny. When we imitate him, he smiles and coughs back.
- He has just started to eat finger foods. I gave him puffs on his 8 month birthday. (Pictures to come).
- He loves to be outside...we go on walks all the time. He seems to enjoy sitting in his stroller while we do yard work.
- He is fearless...I am learning that I need to keep a close eye on him. Just today he crawled under a coffee table that barely had any room under it. I was afraid he was going to get stuck!
