mother's day.

what fun to have my own little boy on mother's day! he was extra sweet to me that day. i told him what i wanted for mother's day: lots of smiles and giggles, and one good extra long nap. and he gave me all of those things. :) it was a good day.

tyler had worked extra long hours that week, so when sunday rolled around we were just happy to be able to spend the day together. we played with cruz in the morning and then went to hu hot for lunch (mmm, mmm, good!). tyler made a great pork tenderloin for supper too...what a treat! i always love it when he cooks.

my gift from tyler was a trip to kc with him and jared and katie! i thought that was so sweet of him to think of that. we went this past weekend and had a ton of fun (will post pictures later).

so, my first mother's day was very special. my heart is overflowing with love for my little boy. i know i am just beginning to experience the joys of being a mother. i feel so blessed.
