4 months.

my baby turned 4 months old today. the eighth has new meaning in our lives now. it was fun to spend the day with him today, as i had the whole day off of work. we slept in a bit and did some things around the house, and then we met up with daddy for lunch. tyler has been working very long hours lately and hasn't seen much of cruz. yesterday cruz was in bed when tyler left for work and was in bed when he came home. this morning tyler went in to kiss cruz goodbye (like he always does), and came out of his room with a disappointed look on his face. i asked him if cruz was asleep, and he said yes. i asked him if he was sad that he was asleep, and he said yes...he said "i haven't gotten to see him!". so sweet....i love to see tyler's love for our baby. it melts my heart every single time.

we spent a few hours at the basement that tyler's been working on lately. i tried to help clean up a bit. it looks amazing! cruz hung out and spit up on the new hardwood floor. that was his contribution. the pics below were taken today...brian and kimbra's boy, braden, loves cruz. he calls him "cru". he wanted to be close to him all night. brian and kimbra are expecting their second child, so it's a good thing that braden likes babies!
