my baby is sick.

cruz is sick...i feel so bad for him.  i took him to the doctor yesterday because he had a fever of 100.6 and my doctor had told me to call if it ever got over 100.4....so i did!  he was really hot to the touch and he wasn't acting like himself at all.  he was whimpering and wasn't his usual smiley self.  the doctor did some tests (poor guy had to get poked again) and then they had me bring him back in this morning.  luckily it looks like it is just a virus...they said his throat looks red and spotty and he is more congested too.  they had me worried a bit because the dr called last night and said his white blood count was a little high, but it turns out that it's nothing to be concerned out.

cruz just hasn't been himself at all.  he whimpered all day yesterday and just wanted to be held.  he normally doesn't let us hold him close all the time, but he just laid on us.  he fell asleep on my chest while we were watching tv.  so sweet.  i just wish i could do something for him to make him feel better.  luckily he has been sleeping all afternoon...i hope that helps.  his fever went down today too.
