well, cruz and i survived our first three days back at work! it was really hard to go back after being off for so long. and it is an adjustment to be taking care of cruz at work! i am so glad that he can be there with me...but it is going to take some getting used to. i feel bad when he takes up a lot of my time there because i don't get as much done, but yet i feel bad that i am not giving him as much attention. i am hoping that it gets easier. :)
thank you so much to everyone who was praying for us on our first day! i really appreciated it. i know that God is giving me the strength to get through this change.

You have it set up so nicely there. I will pray you will find just the right balance of work time/Cruz time. Since your boss suggested him coming with you, I'm sure they understand you taking time to care for him. You are such a conscientious person and will be diligent to get your work done, and I'm sure their knowledge of that is why they trusted you enough to suggest it in the first place...besides it's always fun to have a baby around. : ) He is so blessed to be your son! i hope your first full week of work goes well, sis. the struggle for balance will get easier but trust me it doesn't go away. you always feel like you're cheating someone. just remember that family comes first. you'll be just fine...you're a hard worker and an amazing mother. love you! amy
