Last Thursday was Cruz's six week birthday! He is changing so much already...I feel like time is just flying by. He is holding his head up a lot more, it is getting pretty strong. He is focusing on things more and loves looking at lights. He likes the big screen downstairs. He is smiling a lot more now...we love seeing him smile. Tyler is really good at getting him to smile. I love watching them together.
His six week birthday was a big day because it was the first day that we gave him a bottle! Jared and Katie were over that night and so Katie got to give him his first bottle! She did a great job...and Cruz took it just fine! Yay! I was so relieved to know that we have that freedom. It will be so nice to be able to give him a bottle once in awhile. And that means that Tyler and I can go out for more than two hours at a time! :)
It was also a big day because he slept for six hours straight that night! I was so excited when I woke up at 5:15 and realized that he had slept so long. It felt so good to have such a long stretch of sleep. He hasn't done it again, but at least we know that he can do it!
