I know...my birthday was a couple of weeks ago. But, I wanted to write about it on here. I had a great day with Tyler. He woke me up by playing a birthday song on the computer. It was kind of depressing...it was about getting older. :) Then we went to Heartland Church, Matt and Holly had invited us as they are meeting in new place now. It was good to see them...and it was good to see Mom and Dad too!
Tyler and I went to Target to register for baby stuff in the afternoon. He was so overwhelmed. He said that he has to learn a whole new language now...boppies, bumbos, etc. :) He'll get the hang of it. I had a blast looking at all of the stuff.
Tyler came up with the idea to make me a birthday cake in the afternoon. He told me not to come down to the kitchen because he wanted to do it all himself. He made Aunt Dolly's Chocolate Cake (a family recipe). He even made the frosting and decorated it. I didn't have to go down and help him once. I thought it was really sweet of him to do that. And the cake was good!
We went to Biaggi's for dinner...I really wanted the Lobster Fettuccine. Jared and Katie met us there, which was a surprise! We had a great time and then came back home for Tyler's delicious cake! Tyler gave me a Huskers pacifier as part of my gift. Ha. Somebody else gave us a Huskers bib...this baby better like the Huskers!
Anyway, I just wanted to journal about the fun day I had. Oh, one funny thing that happened was that Tyler broke our bed! Ha. Well, the bed frame anyway. He came running up the stairs and jumped up on the bed. I was laying on the bed and all of a sudden we were lopsided. :) He had broken the frame. We had a good laugh about it. We just put some books on one side and now the bed is even again. It works!
